  • dbcObjects™ Administrator's Webtop - this powerful tool is the administrator's interface for your site and it can be accessed using Internet Explorer version 5.0 or above. The following dbcObjects™ Content Objects will be available for your company to use:
    • Article - the core object for content and the basic object of any site, the Article object has the following properties which you can populate:
      • Title - Any word or phrase up to 250 characters
      • Teaser - Usually a paragraph to capture the attention of visitors and make them want to find out more about the topic. When you select the "Title and Teaser" display handler, the Title and Teaser properties will be displayed on the site along with a "See the full text of this article" link that will display the Title, Body and Footer. The teaser may contain graphics, tables, links to other pages, basically any HTML code.
      • Body - This is the main body of an individual Article object that can be up to 64,000 characters in length and can included graphics, links to other pages or websites, tables, and any HTML code. For very long articles, simply create several Article objects and place a link to the next and previous object at the bottom of the each one.
      • Footer - Displayed in a smaller font, the footer can contain any HTML code and text. Usually the place to put the copyright notice for syndicated articles.
      • Language - Every Article object has a base language and may have any number of associated translations! This is a very practical demonstration of the power of dbcObjects™ and Object Orientated Programming in general.
      • Published - You may elect to keep an article in unpublished form while it is undergoing editing and revision. This way the content of the article will not be visible on the site and will appear in site-wide searches.
    • Include - the core object for functionality, the Include object has the following modules, all of which are custom built for your site
      • Date/Time -
      • Page Views Counter -
      • Header -
      • Footer -
      • Top Navigation -
      • Left Navigation -
      • Right Navigation -
      • Bottom Navigation -
